Screen printed my personal branding onto packaging for my hand in tomorrow.
Yesterday was spent in the print room at uni. Through screen printing, i applied my personal branding to cd cases, discs and a hand in box for my deadline on monday. Finished pictures will be posted soon.

Today was spent in Manchester, with the main event being indoor skydiving! Took a few snaps of the area.
Today has been spent away from mac’s (which was quite refreshing) and in the traditional print room. We got our hands dirty on the letter press and experimented with some screen printing techniques. It was great to use some of the old metal and wood type blocks that the uni has in stock to create some fun, random letter prints - something that I’m going to do more of over the next four weeks. Here you can see me and Dan applying the ink and feeding it into the mini roller to press.

So last night was the B-HIVE 2012 prize giving evening, from which i bagged paid work placements in both the graphic design & digital categories. It was a great experience, and i would recommend entering next year! Congratulations to all of the winners in each category.
I now have 2 weeks at Tomorrow People, 2 weeks at Cognition, 1 week at 383 project & 1 week at Made Media to look forward to!

Been working on the lowercase of my typeface. Now to work on a promotional poster for my design.
My response to a one day uni brief which was to design a typeface. I wanted to create a modern, hyper condensed typeface which has the feel and looks of traditional print.
